AB COASTER – How well built is the home version of this machine?

I use the health club version at my gym – truly an incredible ab machine (I have been a gym rat forever). I cannot do hanging leg raises or preachers seat raises without my back burning in pain way before my abs are sufficiently worked to failure – the Ab Coaster allows my abs to be blasted in all areas without any back discomfort. The results are far better than I have EVER been able to get with any other ab exercise.

Anyway – Before I pull the trigger on the infomercial home unit, I would love some feedback on how strudy it is from people who have it. I would appreciate it -
Just read the Blog at the Ab Coaster site – their Health Club version just won the FIBO (whatever that is) 2008 Innovation Award at like the largest European Health Org,/…here is a link to the article: http://abcoaster.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the answers btw!
Forgot to mention – last year winner was the Treadclimber, so that’s pretty good company. Oh Yeah – I bought one.

I was very impressed, even with the cost. Actually the $400 included delivery, so I guess its more like $325ish – but the quality is definitely there – very solid. btw – I agree with the leg raise comment. This actually makes it possible for all of us "has beens" or middle agers to simulate that motion because it is the Gold standard for gymnasts and bodybuilders. Crunches will never get somone over the "cusp" to the tightness I feel with this machine. I am glad I got one…..you will be to. Good luck – RG

RG is right! I am 200 lbs and I go crazy on this thing and it doesn’t budge. I’d do it, dude. My wife love’s it so much that she let me put it in front of the TV in the main room where the whole family (3 teens) – use it all of the time. We actually take turns while watching TV.

Even before I actually started losing much weight, there was an incredible difference in the way I looked and felt. It felt (and still does) like my entire ab muscles – oblques and all – down way below the belt, were sorta strapped up and tightened like a girdle, making me look thinner. Now that I lost 10 lbs, I feel incredible.
